I agree Jon, that it was a fun movie yet flawed movie. I liked the role reversal with Prof X and Wolverine. And the X-Men that got any screen time were certainly fun. I don’t remember the 1970s as being that technologically advanced to build sentinals though (or even the present for that matter). (Also, I was born in 77, so don’t really remember the 70s at all).
The post credits sting looks pretty good though. A great tease of Apocalypse.
I like the hint that Magneto is Quicksilver’s dad too, with the line “You can move metal? My mom used to date a guy who could do that…” or words to that effect.

Thanks loads for this, Cameron... I don't often blog - mainly because well, look how much I can't help writing? But it's always good to hear when someone appreciates something you've written, whether they agree with you or not! (It's pretty ace when they agree, though...) I appreciate you seeking my other stuff out! You might already have found 2 Grown Men or Unanswered, which are the other two podcasts I'm involved with, and the writing site Elephant Words - which I don't contribute to often any more but still run. Ah Nick thank you this was refreshing, reading you rant is like reading my own thoughts in the most concise reasonable presentation! Ha I just got into Mombcast only last week and now that it’s over I don’t even know if this comment will find it’s way to you but if it does just know that your works and your podcasts will continue being enjoyed for a long time though they’ve “ended”. Logic and reason is the only way. Thanks for having it.

Hello, I checked your podcast out because of Rachel and Miles but the first episode I listened to was this grand bittersweet ending:P. Anyway I enjoyed all of your wonderful voices and this is exactly what I’ve been wanting so I’m gonna gradually go through it all(not sure if you can call it catching up) for probably a couple years if I’m diligent:). Thanks! It maybe over for you but the MOMBcast fun just began for me!
